385/65R22.5 (steer and trailer), 315/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5 (drive and steer), 295/80R22.5, 265/70R19.5 and 235/75R17.5 for light trucks and distribution vehicles. The size is followed by a load index for single and dual fitment (for example 160/158) and a speed symbol; both must match the vehicle registration.
Every new truck tyre sold in the EU carries a label with fuel efficiency, wet grip and noise class. For a long-haul tractor unit the fuel class is worth money over the life of the tyre; for regional and construction transport, tread depth and cut resistance matter more.
